ResponsibilitiesThis opening is for a recently awarded 5 year program that delivers a wide set of capabilities across the enterprise to include data management, data delivery, high ingest rate cloud architectures, and analytic platforms.
Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluates end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.
Conduct research and evaluates technical performance of software products and overall segments and systems.
Ensure products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.
Verify and validate systems with specific emphasis on network operations and cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to information networks.
Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
Prepare assessments and cyber threat profiles of current and planned products based on sophisticated testing, research, and analysis.
Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements.
Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they verify/validate the requirements.
Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements.
Produce high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.
Implement comprehensive SOA solutions Establish a process to formally and proactively control and manage changes to requirements, consider impacts prior to commitment to change, gain stakeholder buy-in, eliminate ambiguity, ensure traceability to source requirements, and track and settle open actions Manage and ensure the technical integrity of the system baseline over time, continually updating it as various changes are imposed on the system during the lifecycle from development through deployment and operations & maintenance Develop scenarios (threads) and an Operational Concept that describes the interactions between the system, the user, and the environment, that satisfies operational, support, maintenance, and disposal needs Establish and follow a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces QualificationsBasic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Fourteen (17) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required Preferred Qualifications Experience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale systems Experience in leading agile development models Experience integrating COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors Experience developing and deploying storage within clustered or cloud environments Experience planning and integrating secure compliant solutions based on legal, policy, and compliance directives Knowledge and experience with internals of HDFS, HADOOP, and/or HBase/Accumulo BIG TABLE #MPOJobs #LI-SG1 #PeratonRoyalMove OverviewPeraton drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.

For Colorado Residents Colorado Salary Minimum:
$91,000 Colorado Salary Maximum:
$220,600 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
