Position Summary The Microsoft Dynamics 365 System Administrator oversees the administration, maintenance, configuration, integration, and support of our existing D365 Customer Engagement (CE) implementation, and our planned D365 Business Central implementation.
You will partner with internal teams and external partners to ensure the platforms meet current and future business requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support all aspects of software to D365 CE and D365 365 Business Central including routine maintenance, installs, updates, patches, customizations, integrations, etc.
including 3rd party applications.
Assist with the D365 BC implementation project in a business analyst role Administer D365 BC and D365 CE End Users, roles, tasks and all 3rd party associated applications.
Modify, design, configure, test, and deploy system and portal changes - including but not limited to fields, tables, forms, views, charts, reports, dashboards (including Power BI), business processes, workflows / Power Automate, templates, entity forms, entity lists, web pages, page templates, and web roles.
Monitor and maintain security to ensure existing and new users have proper access.
Incudes administering user accounts through Azure, permissions, security role, web roles Monitor existing and future integrations to ensure system processes are properly working and suggest changes if not optimized Create, monitor, and reconcile data hygiene protocols such as duplicate detection rules, optimizing database for operational and strategic reporting Work closely with demand generation to optimize lead-to-opportunity process utilizing synergies between D365 Marketing and D365 CE Stay up to date on current and roadmap features and releases in the D365 stack Work closely with cross-functional teams to maximize out-of-box system feature sets Serve as a D365 and Portal subject matter expert (SME) to all functional areas Assist internal and external users with questions, issues resolution, and bug fixes.
Working with Microsoft support or 3rd party partner when needed Document and centrally store system processes, workflows, and field mappings Conduct train-the-trainer sessions on new features and processes Troubleshoot and resolve daily support tickets Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Attributes Minimum 1 year experience with D365 CE and D365 BC Experience designing, configuring, and deploying D365 solutions across environments Strong verbal and written communication Ability to work independently, reporting to management when needed Familiarity with Power BI data modeling and front-end visual buildout Ability to meet tight deadlines in fast paced environment with changing priorities Intellectual Curiosity Functional testing experience Experience creating user materials and leading user training sessions Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio Bachelor's Degree D365 certification(s) a plus Supervisory Responsibilities What is the nature of the direct supervisory responsibility this job has?
