Network Engineering Manager

Our client is a growing financial services firm with a national reach.
They're currently seeking a Network Engineering Manager to join their IT team in Laurel, MD.
Candidates must have atleast 10
years' experience in an IT capacity with a focus on network engineering.
Must be a contributing leader, willing to get your hands-dirty and work with your team.
Experience with LAN/WAN, Active Directory, Cisco and Azure/AWS is required.
Manages the operation of the Network Services & Collaboration team to ensure efficient operation of the hardware and telecommunications infrastructure in support of operations and assures a trained, motivated and professional staff capable of providing technical support to meet technical network needs.
Provides timely and accurate information including reports, analyses, and recommendations as necessary related to security, hardware, LAN/WAN, VPN, Telephony, and telecom infrastructure for use in proactively managing business needs, budget, and strategic planning to meet strategic objectives.
Directs the execution of team projects as directed in support of overall departmental and organizational goals.
Recommends policy and develops procedures to ensure the secure, efficient and effective operation of the data networks and voice systems.
The position assures that terminals, peripheral equipment and communication lines are installed and maintained according to specifications and with minimal disruptions to operations.
This includes responsibility for maintaining accurate diagrams or maps of wiring and network paths.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
