As an ER Technician, you will be providing care as directed by our ER Veterinarians to hospitalized patients, pets experiencing acute emergencies, and to pets seen through the ER and treated on an outpatient basis.
While your responsibilities will vary, some tasks you will need to perform are listed below:
Familiar with digital radiology and in house lab operations Proficiently restrain patients Excellent customer service and oral communication skills Triage patients and recording vital signs Placing IV catheters and drawing blood Administering IV Fluids and injections Sterilizing surgical equipment Prepping for and assisting with surgery Caring for hospitalized patients Ability to prioritize and multi-task Requirements:
At least 1-2 years experience as an emergency/ICU veterinary technician Job Type:
