ED is passionate about the care and well-being of animals and strives to be a future veterinarian.
For now, ED would enjoy engaging in volunteer efforts that involve animals, as well as others.
ED is very outgoing and loves visiting new places.
ED enjoys taking walks for physical fitness and desires to be active in the community.
ED was a former teacher's aide and enjoys math and reading.
ED also enjoys music, preferably country, R&B and some Hip Hop.
Responsibilities We'll Help You Master Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and fulfilling their dreams by having a person-centered focus.
Teach independent living and daily skills to the persons-served by identifying and meeting social, environmental, and health care needs such as daily grooming and personal care routines.
Actively plans, coordinates, and participates with residents in social activities including frequent community outings.
Instructs, supports and participates in performing household tasks with persons served such as cleaning, preparing meals, food shopping, etc.
The Ideal Candidate Earned High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
Able to communicate effectively with the individuals to whom services are provided Should have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities or with other types of special needs populations Have patience and positive coaching skills to assist ED with successfully reaching his goals.
Enjoy being active and proactively partner with ED while engaging in activities, events and volunteer efforts of choice.
Will be resourceful in researching community activities, volunteer efforts, and enjoy introducing new ideas.
