CFS is partnering with a top client, a leader in the retail/manufacturing industry, operating for almost 100 years in the DMV area. Due to a medical leave, they are hiring a Billing Specialist to join their accounting team on a contract basis for the next 1-2
months. Company boasts a casual work environment and great growth opportunities. This role has the potential to be longer term for the right candidate! The Billing Specialist will work Monday-Friday 7am-3:
30pm or 8am-4:

Create bills, send to manufacturer, and track through Excel Bill back manufacturers for damaged items to obtain refunds and credits Work closely with repair team to validate the status of repair Email correspondence with manufacturers Qualifications of the Billing Specialist:

years' basic accounting/administrative experience required Must be strong with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, working within prebuilt spreadsheets, able to track receivables) Must be comfortable working in a non climate controlled warehouse setting in a fast paced environment Strong organizational skills #INAPR2024 Recommended Skills Accounting Administration Billing Coordinating Customer Experience Microsoft Excel Apply to this job. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
