Senior Database Engineer w/TS/SCI and Poly
CABA solutions is looking for a Database Engineer to work on a small team that maintains multiple production and development databases in a unique and lively customer focused environment.
The successful candidate will be a part of a team that provides support to multiple organizations from a central location, with no travel requirements.
This is an exciting position that supports a mission critical program with high visibility and a proven track record.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Provide support to existing database servers by performing routine maintenance to include Administration, patching, and system security compliance actions.
Maintain multiple database clusters and provide direct support to system administrators and developers by creating SQL queries and modifying existing queries to accommodate operational changes.
Create and modify stored procedures in existing databases as required by various development teams.
Must be familiar with Microsoft SQL Server and the MSQL Server Management Studio tool set.
Assist developers with designing databases to include database schema development and view design.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 12-15 years of experience.
Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeFive (5) to ten (10) years' of experience and a DBA or DBE with a Security
(CE) certification.
TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.
Currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert - Database (MCSE-DB)Microsoft Certified IT Professional - MS SQL Server (Database Developer 2008)IBM CASA Lotus Notes/Domino (LND)Original Posting Date:
