Overview:
Provide support in government contract administration to include business system inputs and processing proposals through contract award.

Basic Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree desirable.
A minimum of five years of administrative experience in a government contracting environment.
Self-starter, proven individual contributor with ability to work in teams in a changing environment.
Must have demonstrated ability to work multiple tasks while providing superior attention to detail, accuracy, and customer service.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Experience with contracts, cost estimating, and proposal preparation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the processing of funds and administrative actions to include spreadsheet analysis and maintenance of various spreadsheets. Prepare task order documentation.
Maintenance of task orders and funding in our client's business systems and reconciliation of contract documentation.
Assist with (a) proposal routing within the Contracts Group and (b) submission of sponsor-endorsed proposals, cost data and cost certifications to government customer.
Respond to and assist the government customer and internal customers with funding, task order status, contractual documentation, and related questions.
Other ad hoc contract administrative support as designated by
supervisor
, to include preparing reports from the client's business databases, internal authorizations, and assisting with the maintenance of information for other contracts in the business systems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
