## Position Description
Introduction: The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a national leader in scientific research and development, located midway between Baltimore and Washington, DC is seeking an Electrical Engineer.
Job
Summary: Provide senior level electronic hardware systems development, design, and implementation of electro-optical, electromagnetic, acoustic, and seismic sensor systems along with knowledge of data acquisition and processing, remote communication systems, and embedded systems.
Duties:
1. Commercial sensor evaluation, selection, integration and test. (25%)
2. RF systems design and link analysis for high frequency RF systems. (20%)
3. Low power electronic systems design using commercial and custom components. (20%)
4. Lead prototype systems development projects for deployment in theater. (15%)
5. Field test planning and execution for assessment of system operability and performance. (10%)
6. Documentation of engineering design, engineering analysis, and system performance. (10%)

## Qualifications
Required Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering/technical discipline with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including digital, RF, and embedded systems design, development, and implementation with a record of achievement in delivering complex systems to solve sponsor challenges. Strong demonstrated skills in technical leadership, organization, and planning. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications: MS ,PhD in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline. Working knowledge of fiber-optic systems and antenna design. Experience leading prototype systems development projects and leading field tests. Experience with Navy electronic systems, shipboard installations, procedures, and TEMPALTs.
Special Working Conditions: Occasional U.S. or overseas travel. Occasional irregular working hours, including overtime for field testing. Must be medically and physically capable for work and travel on Navy ships and submarines.
Security: Secret Clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for a NAC/LAC and access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
