## Position Description
Introduction: The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a national leader in scientific research and development, located midway between Baltimore and Washington, DC is seeking a Electronic Warfare Systems Analyst.
Job
Summary: Support ongoing tactical aviation and electronic attack programs with engineering-based analysis, computer modeling, and simulation.
Duties:
1. Evaluate and analyze the performance of radar, electronic attack, and communication systems via one-on-one and many-on-many computer simulations and other analysis techniques. Analyze threat radars and support the maintenance of radar performance databases. (50%)
2. Develop or employ many-vs-many models to construct, analyze and compare airborne electronic attack alternatives and concept of operation tactics to assess the impact of these systems on mission effectiveness. (20%)
3. Design and construct new computer algorithms and expand the capabilities of existing simulations to explore and analyze aircraft system performance in the face of changing technologies. (20%)
4. Document and present results of analyses and tests to peers and sponsors. (10%)

## Qualifications
Required Qualifications: B.S. degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other related engineering discipline with relevant experience gained professionally or via academic pursuits, to include experience with computer languages used for scientific work, such as MatLab or C++. Ability to work as a team with numerous engineers with various levels of experience and technical skills. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and orally.

Qualifications: M. S. degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other related engineering discipline.
Special Working Conditions: Position will require some out of town travel to government and contractor facilities and special test ranges.
Security: Top Secret Clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for an SSBI and access to classified information. Preference for current SSBI. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.
